The reigning Southeast Conference Champion, Franklin, lost their top two all-conference players from last season and desperately needed someone to step up in a big way.

has done just that. Through two games, the Sabers are 2-0 thanks to Tilley averaging 23 points and 11 rebounds on 59/50/67 shooting splits. His 23 ppg are good for 3rd in the conference. The senior wing/forward is someone to monitor at the Division III and NAIA level. He has an early offer from NAIA Mount Mercy and should draw more attention as the season progresses. Tilley can play with his back to the basket, but also put the ball on the floor from the wing. He’s growing as a floor spacer, fights on the glass, and has the strength to finish through contact. Tilley will be an all-conference player.

Case’s tallest starter was listed at 6’2, so Brandon was able to take full advantage of his size in the paint on Wednesday night. He’s going to be a walking double-double threat all season long with his strength and effort in the paint, and that was the case on Wednesday as he put up 22 points with 10 boards in the win. Not afraid to play with physicality and fight for low-post position, but can also put the ball on the floor and attack from the wing. Added in a three point make as well.

Tilley had a bit of a breakout game against Pius XI. Finishing with 20 points, the 6’5 forward showed he can stretch the floor from deep but also use his strong frame to compete inside. Brandon looks like he can play both the 3 and 4 spots, as he moves well at 6’5 and is composed on the ball. Is someone who can elevate for a mid-range jumper or get all the way to the basket where he has the strength to power through contact. Has scored in double-figures all three games this year and looks ready to help Franklin compete for a conference title.
