Greenup is running with Team United 15u EYBL and brings a lot to the table as a physical guard with two way ability. Team United finished 1-3 on the weekend with some narrow defeats but Greenup was one of their true bright spots. He averaged 13.3 Points, 6.5 Rebounds, 1.0 Assists, 1.0 Steals, and 0.5 Blocks per game on 39/20/79 shooting splits. Greenup’s motor and all around impact are very apparent when watching him and as he continues to progress in his overall skill level, his efficiency numbers will rise back to where they need to. Greenup is a true mismatch at this level and should continue to be a major focal point for this Team United 15u team all summer long.

Greenup is a key piece on this Team United 15u EYBL group as a truly well rounded guard with the ability to impose his will on the game. He was one of North Carolina’s most productive freshman this past season at South Granville High School with his versatile skillset. Greenup is already one of the best rebounding guards in the State of North Carolina as well, he has a natural nose for the basketball and often gets rewarded for that with his production. He’s got the ability to score through contact at the rim, operate with a high motor, and is simply a problem to deal with at this point in time. We’re excited to track Greenup’s development over the course of his high school career and there’s no doubt that he’s going to be one of the 2029s we talk about frequently in the coming years.

We’ll see what Greenup ends up being long term positionally but it appears he’s playing a blend of on and off the ball while doing a lot of different backcourt/wing things at both ends of the floor. With that said, there’s no doubt that this kid is a special player poised to do special things over the course of his high school career. Greenup is physically ready for whatever is in front of him. The Freshman is averaging 24.5 Points, 9.0 Rebounds, 1.4 Assists, 1.7 Steals, and 1.4 Blocks. Greenup is shooting with 45/31/76 splits which is remarkably efficient considering his age/usage. I’ll be making it a point to get out to a South Granville game to watch him in person and provide a much more detailed eval, but this kid had to get some recognition for being one of the top wing guards in NC regardless of class already.
