A recent Washington & Lee commit, Conklin earned All-State honors last season after averaging nearly 14 points and five rebounds per game. He is a skilled lead guard who can impact the game as both a scorer and distributor, using his ability to attack the lane and his court vision to create opportunities for himself and his teammates. Conklin is also a capable perimeter shot maker who looks poised for a big senior season. His versatility and feel for the game should allow him to make an early impact at the collegiate level.

Conklin had a great junior season earning All District honors and becoming one of the go-to guys for a talented Woodson team, and the way that he played this summer he’s ready to take it to another level this year. He’s one of the more skilled and high IQ guards you will come across as he controls the entire game and handles pressure very well, he’s a savvy scorer in the lane and a crafty finisher around the rim, he can drill it from deep working on and off the ball, and he makes great decisions in ball screens and when he gets in the lane.

Conklin starred for the Nova Cavs in the Hoop Group Academic League during July continuing his momentum as a high academic prospect in the 2027 class. The rising senior is a ball handling, scoring guard who can create offense off the dribble. He understands how to use ball screens and can step behind and make perimeter shots or tun the corner and score in the lane. He is a creative finisher in the paint and is also able to draw defenders and find open teammates.

The junior point guard was the second leading scorer for the NOVA Cavs on Saturday. Conklin plays with good speed and does an excellent job changing pace with the ball in his hands. He was effective in the midrange with a polished pull-up jumper and showed poise when facing ball pressure. A reliable open shot maker, he consistently keeps the offense under control while also contributing as a scorer.

Nova Cavs nearly pulled off what would have been one of the bigger upsets of the weekend as they pushed Tre Mann Elite PRO16 to the brink, but came up short by 1 point. This group as a whole moves the ball well and plays with refreshing cohesion. As for Conklin, he led the way in the scoring department averaging a little over 10 points per game in a balanced attack and after a stock-rising junior season at Woodson, looks to steady add value as the spring and summer progress. Conklin can knock down shots with precision off the catch, but showed good instincts as an operator off the bounce and making reads both as a passer or scorer depending on how the defensive rotation unfolded.

Conklin is off to a strong start this spring, highlighted by 21 and 18 point performances in two evaluations at the Pitt Jam Fest. The athletic junior point guard plays with a high basketball IQ and is a reliable decision-maker with the ball in his hands. He can impact the game as both a scorer and distributor, while also posing a consistent shooting threat from beyond the arc. A high academic prospect, he’s one college coaches in that space should be tracking closely.

The junior is a heady lead guard who earned First Team All-Region honors after averaging over 14 points and nearly 5 assists per game. A high academic prospect, he combines above-average athleticism with a strong feel for the game, consistently making the right reads as both a scorer and facilitator. He is a capable shot maker who can stretch the floor and create offense.
