Johnson is Mr. Everything for Kearney. A 6’5 positionless player that has the strength to play inside while having key traits on the perimeter. He has a pass, dribble, and shoot skillset. At the high school level he quite literally plays the 1-5. Expect for some of the best programs in the Midwest to be involved. This includes the Division 1 and 2 levels. Johnson is a proven winner with all the tools to impact at the next level immediately.

Johnson is a player who should see his stock rise tremendously this May. At 6’5 he can play all over the floor. He has the passing of a guard, shoots the three at an elite level, and has a strong frame to compete around the rim. He’s used to guarding 4/5s and stretching the floor on offense. His versatility is an exact example of the positionless style that you see so much in basketball. Johnson is a glue guy that does everything for this ETG 17u team.

played up this AAU season with OSA Klein 17U. While he was often the youngest player on the floor this summer, one could argue he made the biggest impact on his team. Johnson’s game is extremely polished and his frame is college ready. Last year as a Sophomore at Kearney, Johnson averaged 15 points, 9 boards, and 3 assists. This upcoming season, a lot will be asked of him. Mid Major Division 1 programs should be in pursuit.

is such an intriguing prospect. He is another guy that has all of the physical tools to be a really special player at the next level. This summer, he played up an age level with OSA Klein 17U. Even playing with older guys, Johnson was able to dominate due to his strong frame, physicality, high motor, and skillset. At 6’4, Johnson has a college ready body already. While he is the leading scorer for his school team in the winter, he played a little bit of a different role this summer for OSA Klein. Johnson is the type of guy who can impact the game on both ends of the floor, and has a knack for making winning plays. Pairing this along with his offensive skillset and ability to score the ball, he is such a dynamic prospect. He had a great summer, and I expect his stellar play to continue.

did. Johnson did everything for his squad: rebounded, defended, scored, did the dirty work, etc. In addition to that, the 6’4 wing is playing up a grade level. Johnson already has a college ready body, while being only in the 2025 class. If his skillset continues to develop, he may end up being a top player in his class when it is all said and done.
