While he’s always been a special player, Braden Frager Braden Frager 6’6″ | SF Lincoln Southwest | 2025 State #211 Nation NE bursted onto the scene this Spring, earning offers from the likes of several HM programs. After a great grassroots season, he sits at number 2 in the latest 2025 rankings. Frager is a special prospect that seems to get better each time I see him play. While his athleticism is elite, his skillset matches. He’s an unselfish kid with a strong will to win. Look for Frager to make some serious noise on the national level here in the next couple of months.
After a fantastic summer with ETG, Derek Rollins Derek Rollins 6’4″ | SF Millard North | 2025 State #386 Nation NE picked up his first Division 1 offer from Bryant University. At 6’5 Rollins has a great frame, and uses his body extremely well. He is super versatile, with a nice skillset inside the three point line and out. While he is still only 15 years of age, the sky is truly the limit for Rollins. Last year as a Sophomore, he lead Millard North (perennial Class A powerhouse) in scoring and rebounding. Look for Division 1 programs to continue to pursue the versatile wing from Omaha.
Ben Johnson Ben Johnson 6’5″ | SF Kearney | 2025 State NE played up this AAU season with OSA Klein 17U. While he was often the youngest player on the floor this summer, one could argue he made the biggest impact on his team. Johnson’s game is extremely polished and his frame is college ready. Last year as a Sophomore at Kearney, Johnson averaged 15 points, 9 boards, and 3 assists. This upcoming season, a lot will be asked of him. Mid Major Division 1 programs should be in pursuit.
Nixon Ligouri Nixon Ligouri 6’4″ | SF Auburn | 2025 State NE is another wing that stood out this summer. He is a strong, physical, two-way forward out of Auburn, Nebraska. While playing with Nebraska Supreme this summer, Ligouri often times matched up with the opposing team’s best offensive player. While doing so, he also made major contributions on the offensive end, either scoring around the rim or from behind the three point line. He is all of 6’4-6’5, with a great frame and wingspan to compliment. Ligouri has tons of potential to be a really special player at the colliegate level.
