Apodaca is another name we’re keeping an eye on because there’s a lot to like about the way he approaches the game. He has a nice offensive feel, can knock down shots when the opportunity is there, and doesn’t force things just to get his own. We really liked his willingness to make the extra pass and find teammates, especially when others were more focused on getting their own shot. He also showed he can get inside and make plays instead of living on the perimeter. That versatility gives him something to build on and we’re curious to see where his game goes from here

Apodaca came out to the event and showed a pretty versatile offensive game. He was comfortable catching in a triple-threat position, reading what was available, and confidently stepping into his jumper when defenders gave him room. What also helped was him being a willing passer and finding cutters. That allowed him to stand out as others wanted to shoot it every time, and he wanted to make the right play. He wasn’t strictly on the perimeter; he got inside, mixed it up, and showed himself as a versatile player. I’m curious to see how he progresses the next time we see him.
