Owens is a player who clearly has the tools and potential to make a major jump this season. There were several flashes throughout last year at Englewood that showed exactly why there is so much excitement surrounding his development. He recorded multiple double digit scoring performances and added a couple of double doubles, proving he can impact the game in a variety of ways. Owens finished the season averaging 7.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest while continuing to grow in confidence and consistency. His athleticism, motor and ability to contribute on both ends of the floor give him a strong foundation moving forward. If he can continue building on last season’s momentum, he has a great chance to become a key contributor and breakout player for his team this winter
