Harrison does a nice job finding his way onto the glass and consistently seems to be in the right spots on the floor. He flashed his scoring ability, converting from a variety of areas and showing versatility that makes him a potential mismatch for opposing defenses. Harrison also displays the ability to put the ball on the deck and create opportunities off the bounce. As he continues to grow into his frame, it will be interesting to see how his game develops moving forward. Think going up from playing 1A to 4A will help take his game to the next level.

Harrison entered the contest with a noticeably leaner frame.

His improved conditioning was evident, and he displayed flashes of impressive offensive potential.

At times, Harrison looked comfortable creating opportunities with the basketball. His combination of size and skill showed why his ceiling remains high.

However, several turnovers later in the contest highlighted an area needing improvement.

Harrison showed glimpses of becoming one of the better players in his class and throughout Western Pennsylvania. Consistency and decision-making will be important to his continued development.

He finished with 12 points and showed several intriguing tools that translate well long-term. I really like his feel for the game and natural instincts — he plays with good awareness and understands how to impact both ends. He’s a bit slippery with the ball in his hands and demonstrated the ability to go coast to coast off the bounce, even turning defense into offense in transition. Defensively, he used his length effectively to block shots and showed flashes on the glass, though I’d like to see him be more consistently active as a rebounder. He had no issue seeking out contact and getting to the charity stripe, even if he left a few points there. Moving forward, continuing to get stronger and improving his foot speed will be key areas of development. If those improvements come, there’s definitely intriguing long-term upside.

Harrison uses his length to alter shots on defense and has good timing when going up to contest. He doesn’t let the ball stick to his hands. Harrison is a tad herky-jerky but shows some ability to wiggle to different spots off the bounce and can convert using his in-between game. I look forward to tracking him over the next few seasons.
