Harvey made his presence felt on the defensive end, altering shots and coming away with steals like a pass-catching tight end. He has added weight to his frame since the summer and is developing into a serious interior threat. Harvey does a nice job making the most of his opportunities at the foul line and shows the ability to score around the basket as a below-the-rim finisher. His defensive activity and growing offensive presence allow him to impact the game in multiple ways.

This was the second time I had the opportunity to evaluate Harvey over the past eight days, and I really liked how he built off last weekend’s performance. He stepped out to the perimeter with confidence and connected on outside shots, showing continued growth in his offensive game. Harvey also used his length effectively on the defensive end, creating deflections and securing rebounds with his activity. Around the basket, he scored through contact and earned multiple trips to the foul line, displaying increased toughness and poise. Most importantly, he looked comfortable and confident throughout the game, a positive sign as his development continues to trend in the right direction.

This was my first opportunity to evaluate the Western Maryland prospect in person, and he lived up to the positive reviews I had heard coming into the day. Harvey runs the floor extremely well in transition, consistently beating defenders down the court and putting himself in position for easy scoring opportunities. He also capitalized on second-chance points, showing a willingness to crash the offensive glass and make winning plays. Harvey possesses a nice blend of size and length that allows him to impact the game on both ends of the floor, whether it’s finishing around the basket, rebounding, or disrupting plays defensively. With his physical tools and flashes of production, Harvey has a tremendous amount of untapped potential, making him a prospect worth following closely over the coming years.
