Michel put together several productive performances at the varsity level as a freshman last season. He is a shifty guard who can create offense with the ball in his hands and consistently find ways to generate scoring opportunities. Michel also spaces the floor with his ability to knock down shots from beyond the three-point line, making opposing defenses pay when left open. In addition to his scoring ability, he shows good playmaking instincts and can find teammates for quality looks.

Michel put together a solid freshman season and looks poised to make an even bigger leap in year two. He is a legitimate threat from beyond the arc, and if defenses leave him open, he has the shooting ability to make them pay. The southpaw possesses a quick, compact release that allows him to get his shot off before defenders can recover. On the defensive end, Michel does a nice job jumping passing lanes, creating turnovers, and turning defense into offense in transition. With another offseason of development under his belt, he is primed to take on an expanded role and continue trending in the right direction.
