A strong bodied and powerfully built guard with glaring athleticism, Assad McLean showed flashes of his ability to put an immense amount of pressure on the rim. McLean’s athleticism popped almost immediately on a number of explosive drives attacking closeouts, with his activity on the offensive glass, as well as in transition with a few above the rim finishes. McLean also flashed his perimeter shot making ability off the catch.
