There simply aren’t many more talented playmakers and shot-makers than Baymon in the senior class. He can create off of the dribble at a very high level, is an explosive athlete, and shoots it well both from the mid-range and from beyond the arc. Baymon was excellent at The Expo showcasing himself as one of the top scorers at the event. He has definitely continued to prove himself since returning to Indiana and will be shooting up our prospect rankings now that we have been able to see him play more. It will be interesting to see where his recruiting winds up in the coming months.

Antonio Baymon Antonio Baymon 6'0" | PG Liberty Christian | 2027 State IN was one of several standouts on the day as a whole. He was good during game 1, but really went off in Game 2 especially on offense, where he made several 3s and where his range as a shooter really shined. He is a very good all-around player on both offense and defense. On offense, he made a couple of good put-back jumpers and shoots well from midrange in game 1. He has a high motor, hustling on both ends of the court, where he recorded a block in the first game. Good free throw shooter as well.

Admittedly, we may still need to move this prospect up some more. Baymond moved back to Indiana and is enrolled at Liberty Christian after an excellent season at West Oaks in Florida. Down south he was playing at a very high level against some of the top players in the country and put up big time scoring numbers and was one of the best shooters in one of the best conferences in the country. The 6’0″ shot-maker immediately made a big impact for the Lions at the Charlie Hughes Showcase as well. We’ve only seen him play live once, but we had to get him into our rankings immediately.

Liberty Christian was going to be one of the favorites in Class 1A once again this season no matter what. However, the addition of this transfer from the state of Florida really solidifies them near the top of the class. The 6’0″ guard displayed his shot-making ability in an impressive performance again Austin on Saturday. He shoots it well from three, made tough mid-range jump shots, and showcased some strength as a finisher inside.

The West Oaks product showcased his shooting ability with 12 points in a win over The New School (AR). Baymon is a strong, compact scoring guard who plays with an aggressive, attack-first mindset on the offensive end. He is a reliable shot-maker, can create his own offense off the dribble, and has the skill set to serve as a secondary ball handler, giving him value both on and off the ball.
