Also stepping up in the absence of Webb, Venzen was effective filling in gaps across the board on both ends despite the loss. A long and rangy complementary wing, he caught the eye as a capable shooter off the catch with some straight-line ability off the bounce as well. Venzen was active with his overall floor presence, and while he doesn’t have any one area in which he particularly excels, he has a lot of things that he can capably do on the floor. A strong student, he projects at least as a priority option for high-academic small-college programs with a chance to develop toward the scholarship-level if he can finetune a standout skill over the next year.
