Hutter stated to see his recruitment take off this summer and fall. His play completely backs that trend up. He’s a consistent rebounder that’s strong enough to earn position under the rim. This helps him pick up some pretty high percentage looks at the bucket, specifically off put backs. Hutter used to be a big with high upside. Now he’s more like an excellent post player that (lucky for college coaches) still has even more upside. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Hutter averages a double-double in points and rebounds this season.

I really like the game Hutter has developed and the upside he still carries. He’s not a limited big, as he carries soft feet, strong hands and good court vision from the paint. Hutter will be key in the success of his Milford squad, and the good news is, I suspect that he will continue his improvement through March.

Hutter earned his way onto the prospect list. As an up and coming post player, he has a lot of tools. Hutter isn’t just active on the glass, he’s shown the ability to dominate the boards. He uses his length to get up and after a rebound and to challenge shooters and not allow easy looks in the lane.
