Elite point-of-attack defender with an unrelenting ability to stay attached to his assignment. Sanchez didn’t just defend well when the ball was in front of him, he made opponents work for every inch of space throughout the entire possession. On the ball, Sanchez competed with a low base, quick feet, strong chest, and active hands, constantly sitting in the ball-handler’s hip and making every drive uncomfortable as he fought through screens with purpose, squeezing through tight gaps, chasing over the top, and refusing to give up separation. Off the ball, Sanchez was equally locked in, always connected to his man as he anticipated actions, navigated off-ball screens, closed space quickly, and recovered with enough discipline to contest without gambling.

competed with physical defense and a blue-collar approach to every trip. He stayed glued to assignments, punched above his weight on the glass for his size, and turned stops into early offense. Playmaking stayed within structure; shotmaking was selective but confident. Glue-piece effort defined his day.
✅ Physical, assignment-first defense ✅ Punches above weight on the glass ✅ Structure-first creation, selective shot diet
Anthonee is a gritty, smart guard with an excellent shooting form and great judgment for picking his spots on the floor. He’s a solid two-way player, displaying significant skills on defense as well by consistently pressuring the ball and creating chaos for his opponents. He’s got a strong motor and shows pure hustle on both ends throughout his games. If he gets into a comfortable rhythm with his jumpers offensively, there’s little his foes can do to stop him.
Sanchez proved to be a tough defender with active hands and a strong motor in pursuit of the ball, consistently applying pressure and disrupting offensive rhythm. His effort on that end translated into deflections, loose balls, and forcing uncomfortable possessions, showing the ability to impact the game through defensive intensity.
