stood out game after game as the true glue guy of the weekend. Wilson played with good, active hands and the wherewithal to get into his man’s space without fouling or giving up position, allowing him to dig down and swipe for steals that led directly to fast-break points. Wilson proved to be the perfect connective piece for Arnold Elite, making the extra pass, running the floor at full steam, and cutting hard anytime he spotted an open gap in the defense.

Wilson was the most productive prospect on the court, making his presence felt in every aspect of the game. His remarkable endurance and relentless energy allowed him to stay involved on both ends. Whether chasing down loose balls, fighting for rebounds, or creating second-chance opportunities, Wilson’s motor never stopped. Off the ball, he excelled as a help defender, disrupting passing lanes and providing strong rotations. On offense, he found gaps in the defense as a floor spacer, making timely cuts to the rim and positioning himself for open looks from beyond the arc.

Brandon possesses good strength and size for a young combo guard. Wilson competed well versus older competition and did not back down! Brandon showed the ability to get paint touches and finish strong through bigger and taller players. Wilson also made good reads out of the pick in roll. With continued growth Brandon aims to be an impactful player moving forward!

Brandon Wilson played great defensively this weekend. He showed elite abilities on defense, harassing the ball handler everywhere he went and coming away with steals. I recorded three steals and him taking a charge just in one game. What makes this even more impressive is the fact that he was playing up. He is supposed to be in the class of 2030, but was playing with the class of 2029. He also came away with some rebounds and flashed the ability to finish inside. It was impressive watching him have such an impact on defense against older competition.
