Anish wasn’t going to go down without a fight on Friday. In a back-and-forth second half, Ramlall was making some clutch plays down the stretch that had his team up one with under a minute to play. One big play saw him take a shot to the eye after pulling in a rebound, dribbling up the floor, and then breaking his man down off the dribble before pulling up from three. Then later in the game he put his team ahead with a tough left handed finish through a foul, and then knocking down his free throw to put Rosemount up 1. At 6’3 he’s incredibly shifty, with defenders of all sizes having a difficult time keeping him in front. He has the ability to create his own shot off the dribble, but isn’t going to force his game and can run the offense for his team. Spent a lot of time guarding 6’6-6’8 forwards on the other end, and was limiting their ability to get high quality looks around the rim. Finished with a game high 19 points in a low scoring matchup.

The most exciting performance of the day came from Rosemount’s Anish Ramlall Anish Ramlall 6'2" | PG Rosemount | 2023 State MN . The St. Cloud State commit put on a show with his shiftiness and explosive athleticism at the rim. You don’t find many guards his height that can shift directions as quickly as he can, and then explode to get to the basket. Can change directions while maintaining momentum downhill, which allowed him to throw down an impressive one handed dunk right off of a crossover in the second half. Anish has the ability to create his own shots off the dribble, but I really liked his off-ball movement as well. He’s so good at lulling his man to sleep and then beating him backdoor to the rim for easy buckets. Finished with 25 points in the win over Woodbury.
