Andrew Trujilo will give Pueblo West the best he’s got, game in and game out. Trujilo is a monstrous force down in the blocks at 6’7, and has utilized his height to get rebounds this season, averaging 13.4 a game. If Trujilo can cash in on opportunities in the paint, Pueblo West has a legitimate shot an an upset.

Although there are not many names with a shot of contesting him in this league, he works to get deep into the paint to draw fouls as needed. At his best operating out of the roll or from a second chance opportunity, he overwhelmingly at his best deep in the paint. A physical big man out of southern Colorado, Trujillo is worth following down the line due to his physicality and motor. Posting 9.9 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks per game for 15-9 Pueblo West, he is a big time forward out of that region for the coming seasons. Already bringing soft touch with the left hand, he has been a constant threat for the putback following the offensive board.

One of the most productive rebounders in the state, Trujillo has made a name for himself throughout this past high school season with Pueblo West. Certainly up around 6’7 while possessing a strong frame, the Pueblo region has had trouble containing the forward on the glass going both ways. Quick to get up putback layups, he is assertive with either hand. Defensively, he does what he can, bringing in active hands at the point of attack. His height advantage makes contests a handful for opposing guards.
