Ezekiel Stump Ezekiel Stump 6'0" | SG Pueblo West | 2028 State CO only knows one mode, and that’s go time. Stump is a relentless scorer who utilizes his size at 6’0 to bully other guards and get his way on offense. It’s safe to say Stump has capitalized on each of his opportunities beyond the arc, converting on 35% of his looks from way downtown. Stump’s poise and patience with the rock in his hands result in success for himself and his teammates. With a shifty handle and an unpredictable tempo, Stump is a nightmare for any defense to contain.

Stump is a small forward who steps out on the wing and delivers. He actually does a bit of it all, but he’s best known for his scoring. He was one a top 3 scorer in the class as a freshman a year ago, and this year picked right up with 15.2 points a game. In the month of January, however, he has his team playing very good basketball as they’re currently on a 5-game winning streak, which ties a season high, and he is also coming off of a season-high 27 points. He’s a sniper from deep, not afraid to shoot, and his teammates make sure they give him the ball. He has Pueblo West sitting at 11-4 on the year and coming into their own. Stump is a solid player who we hope to get out to events this Summer/Fall. Solid January for him.

Stump is continuing to build off a strong freshman season at Pueblo West and is quickly becoming a tough cover averaging 15.4 per game. The lefty has a smooth stroke, especially from deep, and does a great job coming off screens and getting to his spots. His added crossover leaves defenders out of position to create space for his jumper and he is now punishing defenders who overplay the three by attacking inside. As his confidence continues to grow, Stump’s ability to score at multiple levels is forcing defenses to pick their poison every night and why he can’t be ignored this season

Ezekiel was not only one of the top scorers in the state last season but was the top scorer in the 2028 class and set the bar high for his next few seasons. He put up 17.0 points a game on a Senior-heavy team, was the focal point for opposing defenses on a night in and out basis and that will only prepare him for a summer to hone in on his craft. Stump was able to see what different defenses teams could throw at him and I expect him continue to get back to being an elite scorer heading into season 2. Solid first year for the freshman.
