Another player that had to play a huge role for his team, he led the team in every statistical category throughout the season. He’s one of the top on-ball defenders in the area but also showed his ability to score the ball at a very high level. Schools at the NJCAA and USCAA level should be taking a closer look at him as we feel he can make a nice impact early on at those level programs.

Myrie is what makes his team go, and he’s a textbook undersized point guard. He’s got the ability to make tough shots inside the perimeter, both off the bounce and at the rim. He flips it around and also provides a level of intensity on defense that few in the state match. He is an absolute hawk on the ball, as evidenced by his 4.3 steals per game. Look for him to do a lot of what he’s shown already for the rest of the year while leading Village Christian as far as he can take them.

His team was outmatched and undersized against FA but that didn’t stop him from staying aggressive and competing at a high level. He’s a player that gives max effort on both ends of the floor, can knock down shots from midrange and deep as well as being one of the top on-ball defenders in the area.

put up some impressive numbers over a five day span with Village Christian last week, going for 27, 19, and then an explosive 43 point performance in their 66-60 loss to the O’Neal School. He has been a good scorer at all three levels so far, shooting 45% percent from behind the arc. The offense runs through him every night, so his assist numbers are low, only averaging slightly below 2 a game. However, his scoring ability proves that he is the engine that keeps this team running, and a real scoring threat. Look for him to post some more big numbers this season.

One of the best overall defenders in the area, his team will need him to play a huge role on both ends of the floor this year once again. Last season he averaged over 17 PPG as well as picking up just under 3 steals per contest. Smaller college programs should drop in and give him a look as he could be a nice overall fit for a team on and off the court.

A rare type of player these days, he puts his personal scoring on the back burner and instead looks to produce for his team in every other way. He led the team in rebounds, assists and held one of the league’s leading scorers under 10 Points.
