How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a strong defender who can lock down opponents and disrupt plays. As a left-handed guard, I’m quick to attack the rim and finish with finesse, while also having a reliable mid-range shot. My dribbling skills allow me to navigate through defenders and create scoring opportunities for myself and teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a great teammate who always looks to uplift those around me, keeping the energy positive. I bring a strong work ethic and am committed to putting in the effort to improve every day. My love for basketball drives me to stay focused and motivated on and off the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve earned Gold Honor three times, from 7th grade through my freshman year, and I received it again this year. This recognition reflects my dedication to both academics and maintaining a strong work ethic outside of sports. It’s something I’m really proud of and motivates me to continue striving for excellence in all areas of my life.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball has helped me develop strong teamwork and leadership skills, as I’m always willing to sacrifice for the good of the team. It’s taught me the importance of supporting others and working together toward a common goal. Through the game, I’ve grown into a better person, and I’ve become someone people enjoy being around because of my positive attitude and willingness to help others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve faced a significant challenge where I lost all my confidence. It was a tough period, but each day I’ve been working to rebuild it, and even now, I’m still on that journey. Despite the struggle, I’ve learned a lot about perseverance and the importance of staying positive through tough times.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that can help me achieve both my academic and athletic goals. Academics will always be my top priority, but I also want a school that provides the resources and support to help me reach my full potential as an athlete. It’s important to me to find a balance between both to succeed in all aspects of my college experience.
