Donald Tatum | Prep Hoops Scout
I have referred to Fisher as a businessman. He does his job and goes about his business without emotion. He is never too high or too low. He is steady, consistent, and skilled. He embodies what a point guard should be, and the biggest moments are reserved for those who can manage their emotions and control the game. While facing a deficit and elimination, Fisher knocked down back-to-back three-point shots, including a buzzer-beater that ended the season for the heavily favored Westgate. Fisher is definitely a next-level point guard, and any coach looking for a highly skilled floor general will be pleased with what he brings to the court.

Fisher is a true point guard that could be a steal in the state for a coach looking for a floor general. Fisher has always been able to manage a team and score in spots, but his game has come full circle and he is more aggressive when he is off the ball. Fisher scored 24, but in the moments when the team needed points he showed up. He knocked down 5 three pointers in the second half scoring 20 of his 24 in the final two quarters. He is poised with the ball and constantly demonstrates his high IQ. He is a college level talent.

Fisher makes the list not because of his amazing numbers, but because he is the best at his position. He is a point guard. While some gaurds look to score more often than pass, Fisher is just the opposite. He is a pure floor general that can generate easy buckets for his teammates. He makes clutch shots and he is also an uncanny defender that will lead his team in steals. Neville’s roster is loaded with scorers and it will be on Fisher to keep them happy. Player Comparison. Jamaal Murray. Grissom Pick #5.

I can’t remember a play when I saw another player force a turnover with the ball in his hands. He is as steady as they come, and he is lethal when he wants to be. Efficiency as a PG is paramount to winning and Fisher is as efficient as they come. Embracing his natural scoring ability will be the key for Neville success.
