This long athlete was an impact player last weekend at Battle at the Lakes with multiple dunks and alley-oop finishes. Akol moves very well on his feet and his length is eye-catching. The kid from Roosevelt is full of intrigue and I am excited to check him out again in Sioux Falls.

Thyab is a long very active player who plays above the rim often and also changes the game with his shot blocking ability. Athletic player who uses that to his advantage in pressing situations as he gets a ton of deflections wich leads to easy baskets for teammates or dunks for himself. Pressure defense and transition offense are two areas that hes great in.

After watching Thyab online with Network Elite Basketball at Battle At The Lakes, he needs to be moved up the rankings board by about 40-50 spots and could be a top 30-20 2027 prospect. He is up to 6’6” now with some top percentile length. Has elite lateral movement form a 6’6” prospect. He runs the floor from rim-to-rim with elite speed and effort. Akol plays hard and flies around on the court, which adds to his upside if he can continue to improve as an offensive factor.
