. This was the first time I was able to watch this 2028 guard and right off the bat, I was real impressed with his speed on the ball. He is a dynamic guard that likes to create on the ball and attack the basketball being someone that can just make plays happen. He had 11 points in Edgewood’s win over Linton.

. 6’0” guard out of Edgewood did a lot of different things on the court. Lead guard with a tight handle that was able to balance scoring and facilitating. In the lane he played off two feet where he showcased his soft touch on his floater as well as his court vision. Sound defensively where he didn’t gamble too much. He stayed in a stance and moved his feet well. Did a good job blocking out and going and getting rebounds with two hands. Loved the way he pushed the pace off of misses.

This talented, playmaking guard from Edgewood High School is the perfect example of what the Sophomore ID Camp is intended for. We have not had a chance to see him play yet in person, but it is important that he starts to get on the radar heading into his second high school season. The early September showcase will offer a launching off point for Norris.
