Andrean took care of business against Illiana Christian 64-54 on January 8th. The Fighting 59ers face the 15-9 Vikings again in the semifinals of Sectional 33 at Bowman Academy. Austin averages 12.9 points per game and is a constant threat from beyond the arc. His scoring ability will be needed if they are to advance to Saturday’s championship game.

This smaller, 5’8″ guard picked up right where he left off following an excellent junior season at Andrean. Austin averaged 18.6 points per game while connecting on 75 three-point shots during the high school season. Then, on Sunday morning, he rained in six three-point shots on his way to a team-high 20 points in a blowout win. He is a truly elite shooter that you cannot leave open even for a second from beyond the arc.

Austin had a spectacular junior season at Andrean averaging 18.6 points per game while making 75 three-pointers at a 45% clip. He is a smaller guard, but he can create his own shot off of the dribble, obviously shoots it at a high level, and puts pressure on the defense at all times. Look for him to continue scoring it a lot this weekend for Indiana Game.
