About Ahmed

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a tall, lengthy guard with a strong, defensive presence and a reliable shooter. I die for loose balls and give my all to help my team win. Whether it’s scoring, set up plays, or playing tough defense, I do whatever it takes to elevate my team and compete at the highest level.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is all about effort and a winning mindset. I give 100% in everything I do, including on the court and off. My teammates would describe me as a funny and ongoing person that they could always go to for help when they need it.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I help out teaching kids the fundamentals of basketball and in the month of February. I am a part of a black history performance.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I would say, I have developed a strong worth ethic, A relentless drive to succeed, and especially mental toughness. Any basketball player would know that basketball is very hard on the mental side

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I have faced several significant challenges. One of the biggest challenges was focusing on my mental health. Basketball really taught me that sometimes you just have to let things go and it’s not the end of the world but it’s just how you react going forward.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play basketball at a college that offers a competitive and supportive environment, where I can continue to develop my skills while contributing to a strong team.

-Hassan has the ability to get hot in a hurry, turning in some impressive personal scoring runs that flipped the momentum of games for the Bulldogs. He’s got great positional size, has really worked on his handle to allow him to get into his jumpshot more efficiently off the bounce, and has become a tough shot-maker over the past few months. Whether it’s a stepback two or a sidestep three, the bag has improved quite a bit to allow him to score more easily and consistently in the halfcourt.
