-Gilmetdinov has absolute magnets for rebounds at the end of both of his arms, taking advantage of some improved conditioning to put out much better effort on the glass and at the defensively end of the floor. He is a pick n pop threat from the top of the key, has a nice set of post moves around the basket, and is adept at scoring on putback attempts around the basket. Small college coaches should be all over him as a forward prospect that plays within himself as a consistently productive forward prospect.

Skilled, well-rounded wing with the IQ, size, and athleticism to affect all facets of the game. Natural glue-guy. Gilmetdinov does a healthy amount of everything on the court and is adaptable to team needs in every setting. Reliable shooter, penetrator, and overall scorer from all levels, but quietly underrated as a passer. Quality defender and rebounder for his size/position. Simply a solid player who doesn’t possess any glaring weaknesses on either end of the floor.
