is one of the most underrated centers in Colorado. Utilizing his frame at 6’7, Hunter can maneuver through screens and contest shots at will. Rotating quickly, Hunter ensures the help side is covered when opponents approach the paint. Coming away with a multitude of rebounds and blocks each game, Hunter makes for an all-around big man to have.

Hunter has excellent size and physical tools, this 6’7″ big is poised to be a matchup problem all season. His ability to post up strong gives his team a reliable interior scoring option, and the glimpses of face up drives suggest untapped versatility. If he continues to develop his footwork and looks to finish more aggressively on those drives, he could transform into a dominant offensive force. Add in his willingness to pass, and he has the potential to become a true inside out threat. Look for him to play a major role if they can lean on his size to control the paint

He was his team’s ‘big’, but I detected a bit more polish than a traditional center. He stands a good 6’7″, which was great size for this contest. Strong post-ups, which means he is capable of imposing his physical will on others. He certainly displayed the ability to take two or three dribbles drives. He often passed out of his drives, though, where I would have liked to see him prove his footwork. I am hoping that I get to view another game and am looking for his team to utilize him more, so I can grade more.
Call me impressed early with his play.
