About Dillon
Expert Analysis
Max Wagner | Prep Hoops Scout
Dillon was the primary source of offense for Southwest throughout most of the game. He’s so quick and with his deep range defenders are often having to chase him anywhere within the half-court. Engen is really active off the ball looking to find open spots on the perimeter to get off his shot. Hit a handful of threes while also attacking the basket with his man chasing behind for a few finishes. Utilizes his quickness well on the defensive end to move his feet and guard on the ball.

Dillon has emerged as one of the top shooters in the City Conference this winter, and he took over in the second half to lead Southwest to a win over North on Wednesday. His range extended to well beyond the arc which forces defenders to really step out and guard him on an island. He’s super quick and knows how to utilize a quick head-fake to get his man in the air and blow by them off the dribble. Has a nice floater in the lane but also showed he can get all the way to the rim when the lane is there. Finished with 21 points in the win.
