Blackwell will be off to Wisconsin to continue his basketball career. In my opinion, he’ll be a lead guard at the next level, but we all know he can play on or off the ball. Actually his position is a testament to his hard work. Blackwell came into high school as a 2, but has grinded, worked and developed his game. He’s a physical and strong guard that can play through contact which will serve him well at the next level.

Blackwell is an elite combo guard that will be taking his talents to Wisconsin next season. He has a great athletic profile and seems ready to succeed at the next level. But back to 1000 points. It’s impressive to say the least. Mainly because he did while developing from a shooting guard to a high level combo guard that can initiate an offense like a true point.

There aren’t many, if any, players with as much skill and upside as Blackwell. On a loaded roster, he may share the ball a little more but that’s part of what makes him great. Blackwell is a versatile guard that can create, get and hit a ton of shots, but can also distribute the ball at a high level.
