Dwayne Rose to Toledo
After a strong official visit over the weekend to Toledo one of the better uncommitted combo guards Crete Monee’s Dwayne Rose made his decision to commit to the program on Tuesday. He told us why Toledo was his choice.
“I felt like Toledo was the perfect fit for me. They are like a big family and that was a big part of me choosing a school. Coach K and his assistants were showing me a lot of love and made me feel welcomed. I also felt like it was best for me basketball wise. I could come in and hopefully have a impact and help bring in wins for the program.”
Rose is a strong and athletic guard that can play both on and off the ball. Strong attacking the basket off the bounce with his handles. The Crete Monee standout has the ability to score in bunches. Solid mid-range shooter pulling up.
He made his name with Team Rose on the Adidas circuit where he teammed up with Curie’s Elijah Joiner to form a dynamic backcourt. Rose is the #8 shooting guard overall in the class of 2017.
