Over the upcoming weeks, we will dive deep into the main statistical categories of the top-scoring, three-point shooting, rebounding, and defensive players in each district, as well as our All-District team selections.

This week we will cover District 27-6A, which features high school programs: Churchill Chargers, Johnson Jaguars, Lee Volunteers, MacArthur Brahmas, Madison Mavericks, Reagan Rattlers, Roosevelt Rough Riders, and South San Antonio Bobcats.

We’ve highlighted some of the best offensive and defensive playmakers in the district from this past season, and now we’ve completed our All-District Team. Each of these players stood out and made a significant impact for their team and in district matches, as well as filling up the stat sheet.
Here are the First Team All-District selections for 27-6A:
G – Jonas Carlisle (6-2) – South San Antonio (2021)
- Averaged 15.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.9 steals per game. Shot 81% from the free-throw line and 51% from the field.
G – Corey Jackson (5-10) – Roosevelt (2021)
- Averaged 15.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Shot 50% from the field in 2019-20.
G – Keilon Johnson (6-3) – Madison (2021)
- Averaged 14.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per contest.
F – Will Carsten Will Carsten 6'8" | PF San Antonio Reagan | 2020 State TX (6-8) – Reagan (2020)
- Averaged 17.1 points and 11.6 rebounds per game, and had 25 double-doubles. Shot 71% from the charity stripe and 57% from the floor.
F – Rashod Owens (6-2) – Roosevelt (2020)
- Averaged 12.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game, and had six double-doubles. Led district in field goal percentage from the floor hitting 63% of his shots while nailing 37% of his shots from deep-range.
