Swartz is a big, physical wing who can fill it up from all three levels. The release on his jumper needs to get a little quicker, but he’s got a smooth stroke and extended range, shoooting 47.7% from the arc as a junior. He likes to attack the rim and post up smaller defenders on the block, using his strength and physicality to power through them.

Wiseman is the perfect complement to teammate Jayden Houston Jayden Houston 6'3" | SF Davenport North | 2021 State IA . He’s a long, athletic wing who can shoot it, handles it well and dishes it. He led North in assists and 3-point shooting, and has the ability to score from all three levels effectively.
23 | Jaylon Moses Jaylon Moses 6'8" | PF Xavier | 2021 State IA | PF | Xavier
Once in consideration for the top spot in this class, Moses has been derailed by a pair of ACL injuries, which have sapped some of his athleticism. Nonetheless, he has good size, a solid stroke from the arc, and can protect the rim a bit. His quickness has gone away, but he has good hands and positions himself well.
24 | Luke Rankin Luke Rankin 5'10" | PG Dallas Center-Grimes | 2021 State IA | PG | Dallas Center-Grimes

25 | Ty Walker Ty Walker 5'11" | PG Valley | 2021 State IA | PG | Valley
Walker transferred from Roosevelt before the start of his junior season, and it took him a little while to get acclimated with his new team, but he really came on strong in the second part of the year. He’s a solid perimeter shooter with a quick release off the catch, but he’s at his best when he’s using his quickness to get to the rim, where he’s a creative finisher. He handles and passes it well, and is a solid athlete with good lateral movement on the defensive end of the floor.
26 | Jaron Crews Jaron Crews 6'1" | PG Ankeny Centennial | 2021 State IA | PG | Ankeny Centennial
Crews is a well-built lead guard who sees the floor really well. He led the Jaguars with 122 assists, and had a better than 2-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. A capable shooter from the arc, he’s at his best when he’s using his physical frame to attack the defense and get to the bucket.
27 | Jamari Smith Jamari Smith 6'4" | SF Hempstead | 2021 State IA | SF | Hempstead
A big wing with a great shooting stroke, Smith’s numbers really dipped late in the season as he went into a major shooting slump in the Mustangs last nine games, going 12-60 (20%) from 3. Before that, he was 33-66 (50%). He has good size and is a knockdown shooter with the ability to shoot both off the dribble and the catch.
28 | Manny Austin Manny Austin 6'3" | SG Des Moines Hoover | 2021 State IA | SG | Des Moines North
Austin missed most of his junior season after transferring from Hoover, but is one of the best pure scorers in Iowa’s 2021 class. He handles it well, has good length and the ability to score from all three levels. He played in just three games as a junior, but averaged 13.3 points a game and shot more than five free throws a game, showing his ability to get to the bucket.
29 | Kieren Nichols Kieren Nichols 5'11" | PG Knoxville | 2021 State IA | PG | Knoxville

Also a capable shooter from the arc, he has a smooth jumper off the dribble. He uses his speed to jump passing lanes on the defensive end.
30 | Diondre Taylor Diondre Taylor 5'10" | PG North | 2021 State IA | PG | Des Moines North
A cat quick guard with a scoring instinct, Taylor is small but supremely fast and is a creative finisher around the rim. He has the lateral quickness to be a pest on the defensive end as well. He needs to improve his jumper and decision making, as he committed too many turnovers as a junior, but he has the tools to be a really nice player on both ends.
