First-quarter pressure by Shadow Creek has been too much for Houston Austin. Austin has found success inside the paint early on. I’m the second quarter they were able to handle the press better but it was a back and forth battle between the two teams. Shadow Creek has really turned up the pressure has put their foot on the gas and isn’t letting up as they open up the lead even more and hold Austin to only 8 points. The fourth and final quarter of the game was both teams trading off on runs.

Ramon got going late in the 3rd quarter as he hit three trey balls in a row. He scored the ball on all levels. He was able to get to the rim and finished through traffic. He had a couple of dunks in the game as well. He finished with 27 points, 4 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds. He shot 9/18 from the field, 5/8 from deep, and 4/4 from the charity stripe.

Will is a nice sized point that can be crafty when he gets in the paint area. He knocked down some tough perimeter shots. Played solid on-ball defense and forced a lot of turnovers. His play was key to his team’s victory. He finished with 19 points, 3 steals, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. He shot 8/15 from the field and 3/6 from deep.
Shawn Jones Jr. 6’5 SF | 2022 | Shadow Creek PHTX50
Shawn did all the small things for his squad. Played the passing lanes well. Was active on the glass on the offensive side. Had a thunderous two-handed jam in the game. He took a couple of charges and played with a great motor. He finished with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. He shot 4/7 from the field and went 0/1 from deep.
Kevin Destin 6’4 SG | 2022 | Houston Austin
He is athletic and has a good wingspan. Fast off-ball prospect who has a super quick release on his jumper. He is able to create for himself. Challenges opponents at the rim and has a good motor. Finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Shot 5/16 from the floor, 3/11 from deep, and 3/4 from the charity stripe.
Jalen Payton 6’4 PF | 2020 | Houston Austin
Has a football build to him. He was a force down low and setting screens. He got after the loose balls and was a bruiser the entire game. Finished with 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks. He shot 4/4 from the floor and 0/2 from the charity stripe.
