Prestonwood and Saint Mark’s both came out firing on all cylinders as they put up a combined 60 points in the first quarter. Although Prestonwood kept it close for most of the game, Saint Mark’s’ star players took over in the fourth quarter and destroyed Prestonwood’s chances of a comeback.
MVP: Andrew Laczkowski Andrew Laczkowski 6'6" | SF St. Mark's | 2020 State #385 Nation TX – Saint Mark’s – SF
Laczkowski took over this game for Saint Mark’s on both sides of the floor. He scored 26 points, crashed the offensive glass, and played good defense. Laczkowski is an all-around wing and is committed to the University of Penn.

As Saint Mark’s and Prestonwood went back and forth for most of the third quarter, Laczkowski hit a three from the corner at the buzzer, giving Saint Mark’s a six-point lead. This three gave Saint Mark’s some momentum going into the fourth quarter and fired up the crowd.
Best Offensive Performance: Colin Smith Colin Smith 6'8" | PF AZ Compass Prep | 2022 State #115 Nation AZ – Saint Mark’s – F
Smith could score whenever he wanted as he excelled at getting to the basket, hitting threes, and drawing fouls. Smith’s best play of the game was his and-one layup at the end of the third quarter. He already has multiple division one offers and is only a sophomore.
Best Defensive Performance: Harrison Ingram Harrison Ingram 6'7" | SF St. Mark's | 2021 State #15 Nation TX – Saint Mark’s – SF
Although Ingram had a quiet game offensively, he was dominant on the defensive side of the floor. He was playing great on-ball defense and his presence alone flustered Prestonwood’s offense at times. Ingram’s big defensive game was highlighted by his block on a dunk attempt by Prestonwood center, Connor Redrow Connor Redrow 6'10" | C Prestonwood Christian | 2021 State TX .
Best Guy off the Bench: Nathan Galloway – Prestonwood – PG
Galloway was the sixth man for Prestonwood and did everything that is wanted out of a point guard off of the bench. He took care of the ball, made great passes, and knocked down two three-pointers.
Best Intangibles: Nate Stafford – Prestonwood – PG
Stafford is the starting point guard for Prestonwood as a sophomore and the Prestonwood offense goes at his pace. Stafford plays the passing lanes, gets to the basket, and can score in bunches.
Best Under-the-Radar Performance: Jacob Millhouse – Prestonwood – SG
Millhouse is an extremely underrated prospect who can score whenever he wants. He scores great in transition, shoots the three with confidence, and is truly a leader for Prestonwood.
Best Underclassmen: Collin Smith – Saint Mark’s – F
Smith is only a sophomore, but he plays like a senior. He uses his length and athleticism to score around the rim and disrupt the opposing offense.
Best Rebounder: Connor Redrow Connor Redrow 6'10" | C Prestonwood Christian | 2021 State TX – Prestonwood – C
Redrow is a 6’11” center who was pulling down rebounds over multiple Saint Mark’s players and was able to score after pulling offensive rebounds. He took advantage of his size posting up and scoring with his back to the basket.
Best Shoes: Jake Murphy – Prestonwood – SG
Murphy wore the Nike Kyrie 5 “Pineapple House” which released on October 24.
