A.J. Russ | PG | Waxahachie | 2020
Russ is a great defender who loves to put pressure on opposing guards and is getting using his speed laterally to beat you to spots before you get there. Russ has a good looking jumper and he is capable of nailing jumpers from downtown when open.
Tavion Carroll | PF | Desoto | 2020
Carroll is a lean athlete that knows how to rebound and uses his quick jumping ability to get off the floor for second chance opportunities for his teams. He made winning plays for his squad versus and Waco Midway and played with tenacity and heart on the inside.
Izek Chavana | PG | Decatur | 2020
Chavana is a tough playmaking guard who plays with heart and is a fierce competitor who can pass the basketball and put his teammates in scoring opportunities.
Boo Wilkerson | PG | Sulphur Springs | 2021
The stocky off-ball guard Wilkerson was terrific shooting the ball in the first half against Decatur. He is a threat from multiple areas on the court and doesn’t hesitate when he catches it. He can play on the ball as well because of his tight handle and poise.
Calaway Dykes | SG | Decatur | 2021
Dykes is a three point bomber who has deadly range and extreme confidence when he shoots it. He finished with a modest 11 points versus Sulphur Spring but he showed off his shooting expertise on a couple of occasions and was able to show that he can handle the basketball under pressure.
