Tommy Murr (Lindsey Lane)- The nation’s leading scorer is poised to have a huge year. He just committed to Lipscomb and should be focused on his final prep season. Look for Murr to continue breaking AHSAA records and leading the nation in scoring once again.
JD Davison (Calhoun)- JD will once again be the go to player for Calhoun. This athletic guard will averaged close to a triple double this season, and continue to climb national rankings lists. JD is a special talent and widely regarded as the state’s best 2021 prospect.
Colby Jones (Mountain Brook)- Jones is another 2020 prospect that has already made his commitment. The 6’5 guard will be the focal point of Mountain Brook’s offense this season. Jones was a breakout performer this summer and those improvements should keep the Spartans in the hunt for another title.
Jalen Myers (Bob Jones)- I think Myers is going to have a huge season for Bob Jones. This kid made waves over the summer, and I don’t see him slowing down. The 6’8 forward is a matchup nightmare. He has the ability to score at all 3 levels and is a very good rebounder.
Rongie Gordon (Sidney Lanier)- Lanier lost some players, but Gordon is still on the roster. This kid is built like a freak. He is a 6’8 athlete who can do it all. Gordon has really improved and shown the ability to stretch the floor. No one in the state can matchup with this kid. If he wants it, Gordon could dominate.
