And several college programs — Division II through NAIA — have begun taking notice.
Sioux Falls, Briar Cliff, Morningside, St. Olaf, Buena Vista, and Dordt have been looking at him for basketball.
“I think USF (Sioux Falls) and St. Olaf might be close to offering,” said Kyle, who mentioned he’s been seeing some baseball interest too.
“I got a couple NAIA and D3 schools looking at me for baseball. And as far as when I’ll make a decision I don’t know, I just want to wait and see what happens with the recruitment.”
The do-it-all 2017 says he developed all aspects of his hoops game this summer while playing with Southwest Minnesota Stars on the 17U circuit.
“My ball-handling has come a long way, and my inside game, my mid-range, my outside game has all gotten a lot better,” said Kyle.
Now he heads into his senior season with the Wolves, and says his role will be a lot the same as it was last season when he averaged 17.9 points and 9.1 rebounds per game.
“My role won’t really change any,” said Kyle. “All the players that we had last year are coming back. My big goal is to get to 1,000 career points, and to be the career rebounding leader at our high school.”
