Durham Hillside 2022 Guard Landon Watkins: Really like the potential that he has, one attribute that we noticed about him early on was his ability to score the ball. He has a smooth shooting stroke from deep but doesn’t settle for jumpers as he has the ability to get into the paint and finish as well. Even in a camp situation, his ability to be coached showed as he was constantly listening to the directions he was given.
Durham Hillside 2021 Guard Tyree Brown: One of the better playmakers that we got the chance to see throughout the camp. He does a nice job of finding gaps and completing difficult passes to teammates for buckets. The potential for him to be a double digit point and assist player on a nightly basis is clearly evident.
Rogers Middle School 2024 Guard Justin Lewis: He brings a business like attitude to the court , he showed some flashes of how good of a defender he can be throughout the day. His height, quick hands and athletic ability are all attributes that we like to go along with his upside to be a very good player.
Crane HS 2023 Guard Darrian Towns Jr: He’s a tough guard that seems like he loves to compete and never backs down from a challenge. His IQ for the game was impressive as he saw plays before they happened and made the correct play a good amount of time. His ability to finish through contact in the paint was impressive and we are excited to see him progress in the coming years.
Kipp Durham College Prep 2024 Guard Joshua Meeks: It didn’t take long to see the potential in his game as he stayed productive on the court even when he wasn’t scoring the ball. As the day went on he found his scoring rhythm and we were able to see the total package of what he can potentially be.
Voyager Academy 2021 Guard Deondre Ross: We saw him a few years back and he was a young talent that caught our attention. Years later and he has grown some more in height as well as maturity. You can tell he puts in a nice amount of time on his game and has the potential to be the type of player that can score a bunch of buckets in a small amount of time.
