Ryan Wilcox
Ryan Wilcox (Ranked #59) plays for WHBH 17u. Wilcox recovered wonderfully from a major knee injury. It took some time, but his athleticism is incredible now. The outside shot needs to improve, but overall his game is dramatically improved in the last six months.
Tyrone Marshall
Pearl Cohn’s nimble forward is showing much more agility. Now he projects as a combo forward. Could he play college wing? Maybe. His handle is really impressive at 6-foot-6. Marshall looks like a college prospect deserving of climbing from #127 in the state.
Kavon Blankenship
Electric scorer, Kavon put on a great show with Station Camp this winter. His Tennessee Tiger 16u year was nice, but his 17u season is special. Kavon is so quick with a first step to fear. Blankenship was ranked #122 during the last update.
Julian Bond
Team Thad 16u is benefiting from the relentless rebounding of PrepHoopsTN Combine veteran Julian Bond. Bond is a little more slim and even more athletic. Dyer County keeps developing really nice players.
Will Pruitt
Special leadership. Pruitt was a perfect fit for former Belmont Head Coach Rick Byrd. Alas, Byrd retired, so where will Pruitt be coveted now? Pruitt’s passing and handle are better than average and he sees the floor so well.
