Shandon Brown 6’1 G / Channelview / 2020
The Houston Rockstarz guard plays with a good motor. Was up and down the court from start to finish. He is quick on the ball with good lateral movements. Plays uptempo on the offensive side of the ball. His first step is quick and explosive. Was able to get by his defender every single time. He has an edginess about his game. Will be a prospect for schools to watch during the LIVE periods.
Kemauri “Kemo” Millender 5’10 PG / Clear Brook / 2022
Basketball University 15U has another nice point on there hands. Has good floor vision to get his teammates involved in the game. Great fundamental passer as well as a very solid dime thrower. He was dropping off dimes left and right. Active on the defensive side of the ball as well. Was able to create for himself. Scored in a variety of ways at all three levels. Finished the game with 17 points and 6 assist.
Nick Hale 6’6 SF / Shadow Creek / 2020
D1 Houston slashing wing who has a nice skill set on him. He has a long wingspan. Nice lateral movement defensively and was altering shots. Plays with a good motor. Can shoot from the outside. I was very impressed with his back to the basket play. You don’t see that to much at this level. Has a nice post game with a fade-away jumper. Good post moves with ball fakes. Has a good offensive IQ.
Westley Sellers 6’0 CG / Morton Ranch / 2020
Texas Mel Elite combo guard is a Swiss army knife type prospect. Whatever needs to be done he does it. Rebounds well. Gets his teammates involved. He is a tenacious on ball defender with great lateral movement. Keeps his opponent in front of him at all times. He takes charges. Sets solid screens. Moves well without the ball. I have been really impressed with his long ball play lately. I didn’t get to see it that much in High School. He can shoot the ball at a high rate from deep. His stock continues to rise.
Melvin Holloway 5’9 PG / St Thomas Episcopal / 2020
Texas Mel Elite scoring point guard has been proving that he’s more than just a shooter. He has been dropping dimes all over the court since travel ball has started. I love the element that he brings to the table as a feisty guard who will go at you no matter your size. He is a three point specialist. Can also score on mid-range pull-ups as well as get to the rim. Has good lateral movement, but will need to increase mass and hit the weights for added strength to his frame.
Joshua Cooper 5’11 PG / North Shore / 2020
Basketball University point is an Iso nightmare. I have been very impressed with him since there state playoff run. He can and will take anyone off the dribble. I haven’t seen anyone hold him all season. His scoring around the rim is increasing which is great for a speedy guard with his skill set. If he can match his defensive intensity with his offensive intensity he will be a dual threat on the floor. His stock continues to rise.
