Game Recap
The SPC opening round matchup between Greenhill and St Stephens was an exciting game from start to finish. St. Stephens took control of the game early on but Greenhill’s talented trio Jordan Simmons, Grant Bulmash, and Drake Muller fought hard to propel their team to an 70-67 overtime win over fellow SPC opponent.
Player Breakdown
Jordan Simmons / 6’1″ / SG / Greenhill / 2019
Simmons played very well in the win versus St. Stephens. The Air Force commit made plays for himself and for others. Simmons looks like he is starting to figure out how to be more than just a scoring point guard.
Drake Muller / 6’5” / SG / Greenhill / 2020
Muller is a smooth shooter that plays the game at his own pace. Against St. Stephens Muller made smart passes and did a good job of knocking down free throws late in the game.
Grant Bulmash / 6’5” / Wing / Greenhill / 2020
Bulmash is a tough slasher that goes to the basket hard. He is a likeable kid off the court but on the court he plays the game with controlled anger. Bulmash finished with 17 points in the win over St. Stephens.
Zach Taylor / 6’2” / SG / St. Stephens / 2019
Taylor showed that he’s more than just a shooter and that he is a strong enough ball handler to play some minutes at the lead guard spot in college next year. Taylor was solid at the point for his team and shot the ball well from distance in the losing effort.
Nehikhare Igiehon / 6’7” / PF / St. Stephens / 2022
Igiehon is an intriguing young prospect with tremendous upside. The Austin native possesses a nice skill set and has a good face up game. Igiehon has a chance to be one of the best players in the state for his class if he continues to show progression.
