NOAH CAMPBELL | 6’1 SG | FRIENDLY ‘18
Noah Campbell took advantage of a defense that afforded him several good looks, and showed that he could consistently knock down shots from the perimeter. Despite it coming in a losing effort vs. Champe, Campbell’s 26 points and 5 made threes led all players in the opening round.
JACOB COOPER | 5’9 PG | GREEN RUN ‘21
There are a lot of things to like about Green Run PG Jacob Cooper. As a small guard, he is adept at using floaters in the lane. Cooper is a good rebounder for his size, but also does a good job pushing in transition where he showcases exceptional vision and passing skills. He used his quickness and ball handling skills to consistently get into the lane where he looked for contact and demonstrated good body control. Cooper also stood out as a reliable free throw shooter and an active help defender with quick reactions.
ISAIAH FOLKES | 6’2 SF | STONEWALL JACKSON ‘20
Isaiah Folkes was arguably the best athlete we saw on Wednesday. A sturdily built 6-foot-2 wing with long arms, Folkes is strong and can defend both on and off the ball. He is a good rebounder who can slash into the paint and finish with either hand through contact. Folkes does tend to attempt jump-passes, and would benefit if he played off two feet in the paint more often.
SESE MOBUTU | 6’2 SF/SG | BISHOP IRETON ‘20
At 6-foot-2, Sese Mobutu is a very crafty scorer with a very good mid range game. Mobutu is quick off the bounce, exhibits very good body control, and adept at finishing in traffic from odd angles. He uses step backs and hesitation moves effectively to create space for his shot, but must look to be more aggressive at times.
DAVID SOLOMON | 6’5 C | LAKE BRADDOCK ‘22
David Solomon is a nice front-court prospect with intriguing versatility on the defensive side of the ball. Solomon moves his feet well laterally, and can get up and down the court in a hurry. He’s got long arms, plays with a high motor, and can rebound out of his area. Solomon has nice touch around the basket and is an respectable free throw shooter. He is an athletic leaper who can catch put-back dunks or flush lob passes in traffic.
