The Minnesota Expo – Senior New Names to Know

Next up, the seniors to know from the Expo, the guys that will likely find their way into the next rankings sort.

The most obvious name that needs to be aded is [player_tooltip player_id='3585035' first='Sam' last='Dale'], the Perham forward who has been injured for a good while, but has spent the past four months making a name for himself. He is 6'5, strong, and explosive. He can explosively finish but is a willing worker too. Sam played well at the Expo and we think he will make Perham even better than we thought they would be.

Nardos has such a quick and aggressive first step that players have a really hard time stopping him from turning the corner. So as the defender reacts Nardos pulls up to hit, attacks deep to lift into a shot, or attacks to create. And he is constantly in movement. Screens away, cuts, comes back to the ball, runs the floor, picks up full, etc etc, a worker.

One of the most productive players possession by possession was [player_tooltip player_id='2569231' first='Chaz' last='Clark']. There were few players that played as fast, there were few players that played as hard, and there were few players that earned the level of respect playing with teammates that Clark did. A good guard that played a nice role for MCA last season.

Christian played some varsity last year, and appears to have played some junior varsity too. This past weekend he played like a veteran attacking guard and a player that we think could have a nice senior season.

Maybe the biggest impression made this weekend for seniors that were not ranked, it was made by [player_tooltip player_id='2423970' first='Amine' last='Maouzoun']. Amine played some last year but this year based on what we saw this weekend, he can help the Eagles with what he does in the paint. His effort to contest, rebound, and block shots was a big take away and if he can take what we saw this weekend into the winter, we could see him being looked at as a 6'6/6'7 frontcout prospect.
