Fred Martin and the Best 50 Available

The Best 50 Available Prospects is a continuation of the Best Available series. All of these payers will play in college, but the level and location is still up in the air.

Read the Top 25 Available here.
Overall 2028 rankings.

#26 [player_tooltip player_id='2350372' first='Brady' last='Harris'] (Cumberland Gap)
#27 [player_tooltip player_id='2283267' first='Elijah' last='Lowe'] (Rossville Christian Academy)
#28 [player_tooltip player_id='2283269' first='Fred' last='Martin'] (Harding Academy)
#29 [player_tooltip player_id='2634791' first='Joel' last='Coverston'] (Summit)
#30 [player_tooltip player_id='2236659' first='Anthony' last='Wiggins'] (Pope John Paul II)
#31 [player_tooltip player_id='2291144' first='Cassius' last='Vaughn']
#32 [player_tooltip player_id='2299334' first='Zay' last='Bridges']
#33 [player_tooltip player_id='2480027' first='Kenton' last='Smith'] (Huntingdon)
#34 [player_tooltip player_id='3544662' first='Kamyrn' last='Green'] (St. George's)
#35 [player_tooltip player_id='3353427' first='Austin' last='Jones'] (Red Bank)
#36 [player_tooltip player_id='3664752' first='Jayce' last=''] Ellerbrook (Dyersburg)
#37 [player_tooltip player_id='2418543' first='Landon' last='Warren'] (Perry County)
#38 [player_tooltip player_id='3570615' first='Ian' last='Allen'] (Boyd-Buchanan)
#39 [player_tooltip player_id='2449556' first='Hunter' last='Noel'] (Davidson Academy)
#40 [player_tooltip player_id='2194529' first='Jacob' last='Nixon'] (Brentwood Academy)
#41 [player_tooltip player_id='1860350' first='Jaxson' last='Alcorn'] (Clinton)
#42 [player_tooltip player_id='2882996' first='Austin' last='King'] (Chattanooga Prep)
#43 [player_tooltip player_id='2357053' first='Jack' last='Cupples'] (Decatur Riverside)
#44 [player_tooltip player_id='2621438' first='Ayden' last='Glenn'] (Christ Presbyterian Academy)
#45 [player_tooltip player_id='2421420' first='Melvin' last='Yates'] (Power Center Academy)
#46 [player_tooltip player_id='3479677' first='Eian' last='Ryans'] (Houston)
#47 [player_tooltip player_id='2441906' first='Nathaniel' last='Cobb'] (Pickett County)
#48 [player_tooltip player_id='2684683' first='Samuel' last='Plourde'] (Beech)
#49 [player_tooltip player_id='2373252' first='John' last='Nwoye'] (Ensworth)
#50 [player_tooltip player_id='2420103' first='Keyshun' last='James'] (Power Center Academy)

This block of 25 contains all different flavors of ice cream. You want a 7' center? [player_tooltip player_id='2449556' first='Hunter' last='Noel'] is your guy. Need a tall shooter? [player_tooltip player_id='2684683' first='Samuel' last='Plourde'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2634791' first='Joel' last='Coverston'] have you covered. Desperate to get a rebound? [player_tooltip player_id='2350372' first='Brady' last='Harris'], [player_tooltip player_id='1860350' first='Jaxson' last='Alcorn'], [player_tooltip player_id='3544662' first='Kamyrn' last='Green'], [player_tooltip player_id='2283269' first='Fred' last='Martin'], and [player_tooltip player_id='3570615' first='Ian' last='Allen'] will clatter into bodies to pull one down.

Together with Greg Spight, Fred Martin attended Lipscomb's Team Camp this past summer. They both played wonderfully, but neither earned a Lipscomb offer just yet. Fred is a power guard that projects as a D2 guy. Such a quick first step. He can shoot a little, handle well, and defend better than average. Look for Fred to sign in the spring though his recruiting options must expand in the coming months. Well-rounded worker bee.

John Nwoye is a fringy college prospect. Great wing body and agility. Unfortunately, John plays too many high school games without dominating. A college bound hooper generally thoroughly outplays high school opponents. John is not that guy. Raw. Needs to develop his skills.

As mentioned, Samuel Plourde can really shoot it. His slashing keeps getting better and an NAIA program feels like the right level. Beech and Plourde will find life much harder without Mr. Basketball Finalist Cutter Sisk though his absence does leave a scoring vacuum that Samuel can fill somewhat.

Ayden Glenn does not get a lot of "ink" from us, but he is a steady lead guard similar to E.J. Jordan or Eric Bryson Jr. Coaches and teammates know they are getting a full effort every night. C.P.A. Head Coach Tyler Holloway played 122 games of college basketball and seems to be the perfect mentor for Glenn. Holloway started 68 games for a very strong Murray State Racer team late last decade.
