Austin truly blossomed as a basketball player in the last couple of months as he attacked the offensive glass with terrifying power, slashed through defenses, and just figured out paths to offensive success all while giving District MVP DJ Wilbur DJ Wilbur 5'10" | PG Red Bank | 2026 State TN space to create too.

Austin is just a plus-athlete that continues to improve his basketball I.Q. It expands his game from a run-and-jump guy to a deep-thinking creator.

1/14/26: In the blowout win over Soddy Daisy Austin recorded a triple-double! The junior dual-sport athlete scored 13 points with 19 rebounds and 13 assists! It was just a magical night for Austin and the entire Lion team. Like his cousin Marcus, Austin is a tremendous athlete. At 6-foot-1 he rebounds like a big and continuously fends off defenders when slashing to the tin. Red Bank improved quite a bit when they added Marcus Jones Marcus Jones 6'1" | SG Red Bank | 2027 State TN and Austin Jones Austin Jones 6'1" | PG Red Bank | 2027 State TN . The pair give them a toughness they need to make a deep 3A playoff run. Austin leads the team in assists per (5.6 apg) and blocks (10).
