He pushed the pace in transition and consistently found ways to penetrate defenses and create for teammates. When Oliver gets into a rhythm, his bag of moves makes him tough to stop, as he can size up defenders before pulling up in their face. He was a sniper from deep and showed that he can knock down shots well beyond the three point line. He can knock down shots off the dribble and is an elite catch and shoot option who is automatic when left open. He can stretch the floor with his outside shooting and is comfortable facing up in the post, where he can pull up or use his footwork to get deeper into the paint. He was getting to the rim at will, using an explosive first step to slip past defenders and finish some difficult shots around the basket.
