Expert Analysis
Terry Drake | Prep Hoops Scout
Jadus arrives with a combination of finishing ability and passing that can strengthen Bell Creek’s offensive balance. At 6-foot-8, he gives the Panthers a sizable target around the basket and a player capable of completing possessions created by their guards. For a team that wants to play fast, his finishing provides an opportunity to turn early advantages into points near the rim. His passing adds value beyond being the recipient of a teammate’s playmaking. He can help keep the offense connected when the ball reaches him, giving Bell Creek an option to play through rather than simply finish through. That matters alongside perimeter shooters because interior touches can force defenders to shift and create opportunities elsewhere on the floor. His addition also connects directly to Coach Johnson’s emphasis on controlling the paint. The Panthers will need Jadus to establish himself as a dependable interior option while contributing to the collective work of defending and rebounding. His finishing and distribution offer an encouraging offensive fit; translating his size into consistent influence around the basket will be an important part of Bell Creek’s development.

Sorhaindo returns to the Bay Area after spending last season at Calvary Christian in Fort Lauderdale. The senior is a strong, productive left handed forward who is very effective and efficient inside the arc, while continuing to expand his shooting range. An above average athlete with good feet and hands, Sorhaindo is active on the glass at both ends of the floor and consistently plays with a high motor.

Sorhaindo was extremely impressive in Week 5, showing guard skills on the perimeter while also anchoring the defense on the interior. He can stretch the floor with his outside shooting and is comfortable facing up in the post, where he can pull up or use his footwork to get deeper into the paint. His ability to play inside and outside gives him plenty of versatility.

Sorhaindo was outstanding for XPC Elite during July. He is a strong, productive, lefty forward who finishes through contact and has inside/outside scoring ability. The rising senior plays with a high motor, has above athleticism and good feet and hands. He rebounds at both ends and plays with a high motor. Expect college coaches to be tracking Sorhaindo for the rest of the summer and fall.

Sorhaindo was a force around the paint. He used his strength well, finished through contact, and controlled the glass on both ends. His footwork and touch around the rim allowed him to score efficiently, while his ability to run the floor and finish in transition added another layer to his game.

Sorhaindo is a big, physical presence with great footwork and hands. He controls the glass, finishes through contact, and has solid touch from 15 feet in. His ability to rebound, push in transition, and finish as a lob threat makes him a force inside. If he adds a consistent three-point shot, his stock will rise even further.

Night-to-night, it will be hard to find a player who can match up with Sorhaindo. He is a big player with a strong frame. He is agile, has great feet and hands, doing his work early to carve out space and establish position. He has a great shooting touch from 15 feet and in, but you can see he is working on expanding his range. He can rebound and push, but he can also rebound, pass, and sprint the floor. He is excellent on the glass and gets a lot of easy putbacks on the offensive boards. He puts a lot of pressure on the rim as a lob threat and as a power finisher in general. Sorhaindo is a promising prospect, and if he can get the three-ball going, he will be a highly sought-after player who can move to the 3 or the 4 at the next level.

clocks in as a 6’7” combo wing/forward, he plays much bigger than his role on the court. Just a shade under half of his rebounds are on the offensive end giving his team more time to get a good look on offense. Sorhaindo is a player who already is tracking the ball’s trajectory before his teammates put up a shot and trying to position himself for the potential rebound. He does a great job getting around other players or simply beating them to a spot so he can find his space to operate in or grab a board.

is 6’7 big with a 230-pound frame. He’s extremely light on his feet, which gives him a strength advantage over players in his age group. The 2027 prospect flashed his handle in face up opportunities. It’s solid for his age and size and could lead to a crafty game for a mobile forward.
