When out in transition he always had his eyes up and scanning the floor looking for an open teammate slashing to the rim. Lucas never forces his own game, and instead tries to make the right play to help his team win games. His off-ball positioning allowed him to swoop in and poke the ball free from an opposing forward, and shortly after he jumped a pass for another steal. On the offensive end his change of direction made him a threat to beat opposing defenders off the dribble, while he also scored off a hard backdoor cut to the rim. Active cutter without the ball who was able to work for a number of open looks with his off-ball movement. Those extra effort plays translated in transition as well where he was always the first one sprinting ahead, resulting in an easy lay-up during the second half. No matter what the defense threw at him, Cook stayed under control and played at his own pace. Throughout the day he just found ways to get into the lane, where he could make plays off two feet as a finisher or facilitator. Really soft floater to score over the top of length in the lane. Silas found success as a drive and dish type of player, able to beat his initial defender and locate an open teammate as the defense rotated to stop him. He plays with a bit of flair that kept defenders on their toes all day long. Jayden could stop on a dime and elevate for a mid-range jumper, or weave his way to the basket for a left handed finish. Showed no problems knocking down shots with a hand right in his face. Early on in the game against Team 6, Jr swooped in to steal the ball before going coast-to-coast for a strong finish through contact. Already has some size at 6' with the strength that allows him to take a bump and maintain his balance. That transition finish was followed up shortly after by a nice hesitation move that allowed him to blow by his defender off the dribble. Really crafty finisher around the basket. His combination of speed and length at 6' allowed him to guard the 1-4 spots at times, and I never saw him take a possession off. Playing for a very guard heavy team, Jerome stepped up to provide an extra rebounding presence inside.
