Caplan is one of the region's most prolific perimeter scorers with his consistency as an off-catch and off-bounce shooter from three-point and mid-range levels of the floor. The 6-foot-3 combo guard leaves the CIF Southern Section (Crean Lutheran) for California-based prep program Southern California Academy where he will see more of a national-type schedule.
